Another arrest has been made as investigations continue into the death of Carlisle man Ryan Kirkpatrick.
A woman, 19, of Carlisle, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assisting an offender.
She was later released on bail pending further inquiries, as was a woman, 21, of Carlisle, who was arrested on suspicion of the same offence the day before.
This brought the total number of arrests in the case now to eight.
Police continuing to investigate the death, with the enquiry staffed from a Major Incident Room.
Officers continue to encourage anyone with information regarding the death of Mr Kirkpatrick to come forward.
