A man has died after getting into difficulty on Scafell Pike.

A man has died after getting into difficulty on Scafell Pike.

Cumbria Constabulary was contacted shortly after 11.35am yesterday to a report of a man getting into difficulty on Scafell Pike.

Emergency services attended, including an air ambulance. However, the man was subsequently declared deceased.

The circumstances of the man’s death are not believed to be suspicious.

Cumbria Crack understands the man was in his 30s and from outside of the county.
