The penultimate round of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship at Donington Park held no change in fortune for Kendal rider Bradley Perie.
The Saturday sprint race saw Perie qualify well in third but he lost ground on each lap and eventually crossed the line in sixth position in the points, but sadly not enough to realise his ambitions of winning the title this year.
Sunday saw Perie starting from 9th on the grid, a series of overtaking manoeuvres saw him gain many places after the first lap. He picked off riders on every lap and found himself dicing for second place on the last lap, but continued bad luck saw him knocked off his bike with just one corner remaining.
The final round takes place at Brands Hatch this weekend.
