Three fire crews were called to a kitchen fire in Carlisle on Friday.
Engines from Carlisle East, Carlisle West and Brampton were called to Victoria Road after reports of a fire in a ground floor flat at around 8.40pm.
An ambulance also attended and treated a casualty for minor smoke inhalation.
Crews were in attendance for about two-and-a-half hours.
