Police are investigating an assault involving two teenagers in Carlisle on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 8.30am in the area of Hartington Place.
A 13-year-old girl suffer a bump to the head resulting in swelling.
The boy is described as white, around a similar age, with light brown hair.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information.
