Barrow’s FA Cup first-round tie at Banbury United on November 6 will be televised live by ITV4.
To accommodate the television cameras in Oxfordshire the kick-off has been moved back to 5.15pm.
It will be the second time this season that The Bluebirds have been on live television after they were also on the box for the Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa.
No details on tickets have been forthcoming yet from the Southern Central League club who suffered only their second defeat of the season in midweek.
This is the sixth time in their history that they have reached the first round proper and the second in successive seasons. But the previous time to that was back in 1973.
For playing in front of the tv cameras Banbury will receive a broadcast fee of £50,000 and that’s on top of the £22,629 they have already earned in prize money.
Barrow boss Mark Cooper said: “I’ve been on that side of it as a non-league manager and it’s great for your club. The extra money can make a big difference.
“We will prepare for that cup tie as every bit as professionally as we would for a League Two game.”
But the FA Cup is well over the horizon as Cooper insists the only thoughts he has at the moment are for Saturday’s clash at Walsall.
“They are a good side. Matt Taylor has recruited a lot of new players, good ones as well. When that happens it does take time for everyone to gel and after a sticky start, Walsall are putting some good results together.
“I’m looking for us to play as we did in the second half on Tuesday night against Scunthorpe because that’s how I like us to perform.
“What we have to do as well is cut out the sloppy goals we have been conceding.”
