A cyclist has been seriously injured following a collision with a car in Millom.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which involved a cycle and an Audi on Friday at about 6pm on St George’s Road.
A local man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of a number of road traffic offences.
The cyclist, a local man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries not believed to be life-changing.
