A new partner has been named at a leading Cumbrian law firm.
Abbie White has been promoted to the role at Bendles Solicitors in Carlisle.
Abbie, who is originally from Carlisle and attended William Howard Secondary School in Brampton, graduated from Northumbria University in July 2013 with a Law degree and LPC (Legal Practice Course.)
Upon graduating Abbie headed to Manchester to work as a legal adviser, but soon returned home to her Cumbrian roots to take a position as trainee solicitor at Bendles in September 2014.
Abbie qualified as a solicitor in September 2016 and was promoted to an associate solicitor at Bendles in September 2019.
Abbie deals with commercial property matters including landlord and tenant, and property sales and acquisitions, along with agricultural and residential property matters.
She is currently based at the Wigton office and moved there in November 2018 when Beaty & Co merged with Bendles.
Abbie said: “Bendles has provided me with excellent training and have supported me to develop and progress my career.
“I am very happy to have been promoted to partner and feel a valued member of the firm. I hope to contribute to the continued development of the firm and am excited to play a role in Bendles’ future.”
