This weekend’s Keswick and Workington markets have been cancelled due to forecasts of high winds.
An Allerdale council spokesman said: “Unfortunately, winds forecast for Saturday November 6 are due to be at a level which would mean we cannot safely operate the market in Keswick.
“Therefore, a decision has been taken to cancel the markets on this day. Hopefully, it will be much better next week and the markets can return as normal.”
