Police are probing an assault at a West Cumbrian taxi rank.
The incident happened at about 3.55am on Sunday at the taxi rank in Whitehaven.
The victim sustained cuts and bruises to the face.
There were a number of people waiting for taxis and police would like anyone to contact PC 2611 Philip on 101 quoting log 68 of November 14.
