Earlier delays on the M6 have now been cleared.
Traffic had been very slow on the M6 as two lanes were closed to allow for emergency repairs.
The delays were affecting motorists travelling on the southbound carriageway between junction 38 for Tebay and junction 37 for Sedbergh/Kendal.
