Police are investigating after the front door of a Kendal home was spray painted with black paint.
The incident is believed to have happened between 9pm on November 23 and 8am on November 24 at Romney Gardens.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Officers are also investigating graffiti on properties in the area of the town’s Lound Road and Parkside Road.
Offenders have used black spray paint to cause damage to walls and a gate.
It is not known if the two incidents are connected.
