A 19-year-old woman is in a critical condition after a crash on the A591.
Police were called at 8.41pm yesterday to a serious one-car crash on the A591 between Crossthwaite roundabout and Dodd Wood, Keswick.
Two men and one woman were all taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
A 19-year-old woman from Wigton, a passenger in the car, remains in a critical condition.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Carlisle, and a 22-year-old man from Allerdale, who was also a passenger, suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst investigations were undertaken, the road was made safe and the vehicle was removed.
