Carlisle Cricket Club has become well-known for its annual Gin Festival at Edenside.
Well now the club has produced its own gin which is available ahead of the Christmas festivities.
Secretary Mark Davidson said: “Everyone knows how many gins we stock at Edenside, so now we have had our own gin produced.
“It’s not a copy of any other gin. These have been blended especially for Carlisle Cricket Club and we think will make a perfect Christmas present for those who like a nice drop of gin now and again.”
The Carlisle CC Gin is available, at a cost of £32 per 70cl bottle and limited numbers are available.
The Carlisle club is one of the most innovative in the county and producing its very own gin is typical of the ventures they are prepared to try.
