Despite the awful effects of Storm Arwen, fundraiser Margaret Rose and her neighbours raised more than £500 for charity.
They staged a coffee and light lunch event at Mungrisdale village hall with all proceeds being shared between the Northern Fells Group and the Zambia Society Trust’s orphans’ education fund.
Margaret will be holding a second fundraising coffee morning at the village hall on December 11 from 10am-5pm.
