A popular play area near Keswick will not reopen this year due to damage caused by Storm Arwen.
The owners of Rookery Wood, part of Keswick Climbing Wall and Activity Centre at Newlands, said in a Facebook post that they had no option but to shut the play area, but they were hoping to reopen it in the new year and create some new elements for youngsters to try.
The climbing wall and cafe remain open.
