Ulverston’s Xenolith Explorer Scout Interact Club held its annual review recently.
Once the meeting was opened, 26 explorer scouts and their leaders chatted over supper about their experiences in the club over the year.
Following the meal and a short business update for the club, the Xenolith team gave a presentation on the 2020/2021 activities which covered events throughout the year including the challenges of lockdown and returning to safe face to face explorer meetings.
The final part of the presentation was led by Finn Ballentyne who described how he and his five explorers completed their Queen Scout Award Expedition in Yorkshire.
The presentation was followed with nine explorers being invested into the Explorer Scout Unit and President Dick Johnson presented their Unit Neckers.
The evening ended with retiring Interact president Elliot Rushton and newly elected Matilda Lauderdale being presented with their badges by president Dick Johnson who then presented the badges to the 12 new Interact members.
