Police would like to identify these men in connection with bike thefts

Police have released CCTV images after a number of bikes, worth thousands of pounds, have been stolen in the Kendal area.

On November 15, police received a report that two bikes had been stolen from Kendal College around 11am.

One of the bikes which have been stolen on this occasion was a Scott hard tail mountain bike which is grey and bright orange in colour worth around £500.

The second bike stolen was a Trek semi fat tyre mountain bike. The bikes had been chained up in the bike rack, the suspects have used bolt cutters to remove the chains before riding off with the bikes.

Between the hours of 9am on November 19 and 7.30am on November 20, a bike has been stolen from a garage on Bellingham Road.

It was reported that a padlock on the side of the garage had been cut through. The bike that was stolen is a black and white Cervelo carbon fibre pedal cycle worth £3,500.

Between 6pm on November 19 and 2pm on November 20, two bikes a battery and a KIOX computer were stolen from a shed on Milnthorpe Road.

The bikes that were stolen are two trek rail 9s electric bikes which are black and orange in colour and worth £6,300 each.

The shed was locked and there appeared to be no signs of forced entry to the shed however the lock inside which was used on the bikes had been cut off.

Police would like to remind people to lock and secure their outbuildings, if possible, remove the front tyre from the bike, please also make a note of your bike serial numbers.

Police are seeking any information relating to the thefts, whether the bikes have been sold on and identification of the men in the images attached.
