People are urged to help join the search for a missing Workington man.
Nicholas Degraff was last seen on Sunday in Great Clifton at around 5am.
He didn’t reach home and the alarm was raised at 12.40pm.
Since then, extensive searches of the area between Great Clifton and Workington have been made by emergency services and friends, family and concerned members of the community.
Today, anyone who wants to help in the search is asked to meet at Workington Town’s ground at 11am.
A gazebo will be set up where all searches will be directed from.
Refreshments have been provided by Nicholas’ work Shane Taylor Welding.
Divers and police dogs are also scheduled to return to search and people helping out are asked if they are searching alongside the river to stay out of the water and away from any areas they are operating in.
Anyone who has knowledge of Nicholas’ whereabouts is urged to call 999.
Nicholas is described as 5ft 10in, of slim build and with short, brown hair.
He has tattoos on his face and neck with spacer ear piercings.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms, work boots and carrying an Iceland carrier bag. He had an Alsatian dog with him.
Nicholas also had in his possession a 3M SPEED GLAS black welding mask – likely carried in a bag – which would be quite distinctive if found, police said.
Anyone with any other information is urged to report it at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit or call 101.
