
A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car outside Barrow railway station.
The collision happened at 8.25pm on December 27 on Abbey Street, next to the entrance to the train station.
It involved a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a local man aged 49, was taken to Preston hospital, with serious injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with dashcam footage.
