Cockermouth’s town centre nativity display has been damaged by vandals.
Part of the roof of the display in Market Place was torn off and it was knocked over overnight on New Year’s Day.
Police said they suspected it may have been damaged by a group of about six people. The group included people both male and female and they were aged between 16 and 20.
