A Newbiggin glamping tent blaze was captured on film by witnesses.
Fire crews were called at around 2pm on Monday to a fire involving a glamping tent at Ullswater Heights.
The witness said: “It was quite shocking to see one of the new glamping sites on fire, they’ve not been in for long and the fire only took 20 minutes to leave nothing but the frame standing.”
Two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were used by firefighters who attended the incident for around two hours.
No injuries were reported.
