A Cumbrian firm has been named as England’s Chartered Accountants of the Year in a prestigious awards ceremony.
Lamont Pridmore, which has offices across the county, was given the title at the Global 100 awards.
It was selected from thousands of practices across the country for the title, based on the elevated level of service offered to clients.
The judging process also focuses on the complexity and strategic significance of work conducted by each firm and the reputation it holds in each nation.
Lamont Pridmore will now feature in the Global 100 guide, consisting of the world’s 100 leading firms and individuals, which is based on votes received from a global readership in more than 163 countries.
Graham Lamont, chief executive at Lamont Pridmore, said: “It is great to be recognised internationally for the work that we do, both supporting local businesses in Cumbria and Lancashire, as well as our work with companies further afield.
“None of the achievements we receive would be possible without the support of our team across the region, who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional services to our growing number of clients.”
Lamont Pridmore has won several awards and the the latest title follows on from the firm being named the UK’s Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers of the Year at the 2021 M&A Today Global Awards.
Lamont Pridmore partner, Chris Lamont, added: “Another win for us is great as it helps signpost more businesses across the UK and around the world to our services and the advice that we can offer.”
