A man died after collapsing during a walk in the Lake District.
Kendal Mountain Rescue Team and the Great North Air Ambulance were called to reports of an unconscious walker on Great Howe at about 10.40am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Kendal Mountain Rescue Team said: “Sadly the walker passed away before we arrived on scene and the team recovered the casualty down the fell.
“The team’s thoughts are with the family at this time and we wish to extend our condolences to all who knew him.”
