The host of a prestigious West Cumbrian business awards ceremony has been revealed.
BBC business correspondent Nina Warhurst will host the BECBC Business Awards 2022.
Dianne Richardson, chief executive of Britain Energy Coast Business Cluster, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Nina will be hosting the BECBC Business Awards.
“As a business correspondent from the north, she understands the business environment we are in.
“She is well known and liked, not just up here in the north and as a host will certainly bring the professionalism and engagement which will make the events dinner extra special.”
Businesses and individuals can compete for 11 categories.
In the run-up to the event, BECBC is holding an awards workshop to help people with their submissions.
