
A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital after an assault in Carlisle city centre.
Police were called at around 6.20pm yesterday to Scotch Street after the girl was punched to the face by another girl believed to be of a similar age.
The victim was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack.
