
It’s been an unfortunate season for Carlisle in many ways, but club officials are now looking to finish the campaign on a high.
After a period of inactivity due to injury and COVID, rugby is back at Warwick Road this weekend with three games of live rugby plus the televised Six Nations rugby live on screen.
Carlisle’s second team, the Crusaders entertaining Penrith 2nds under the Warwick Road lights on Friday night.
The Crusaders are unbeaten so far this season and will be looking to maintain that record, especially having recorded an early win against the Winters Park side in September last year. The kick-off is 7.30pm.
The firsts will host Douglas from the Isle of Man on Saturday, and will be hoping to turn around the score from their previous close encounter at Port E. Chee.
In order to accommodate Douglas’s travel plans the game will kick-off at 1pm and the club’s long term sponsors PK Engineering and Premier Electrical will be supporting this game.
The Colts finish things off with a Border league game against Gala. They wi’ll be hoping to continue with their improved performance this year, after a fine away win against Alnwick at the end of January. Their game kicks off at 2pm
All three matches in the Six Nations will be shown in the clubhouse this weekend.
Wales against Scotland starts at 2.15pm and France against Ireland follows at 4.45pm, both shown on the big screen on Saturday, with Italy v England at 3pm on Sunday.
