Police are investigating after thieves broke into Cotswold Outdoor at Hayes Garden World in Ambleside and stole a ‘large quantity’ of goods.
Officers have released an appeal for information today about the incident, which happened between 8pm on February 16 and 5.30am the next day.
It is not known what was stolen, but police said it was a high value burglary which involved several people who stole ‘a large quantity of goods’. Police are particularly keen to speak with the owner of a blue transit van that had no number plates, seen in the area at around 3am.
