Apprentices at BAE Systems’ Barrow-based submarines business have enjoyed success at a prestigious awards event.
The Make UK National awards were held at the East Winter Gardens in Canary Wharf last month.
After securing their place in the regional finals, three apprentices from BAE Systems Submarines successfully went through to the national finals in their respective categories. The results were:
- Apprentice Endeavour Award Category National Winner: Kaylee McIsaac
- Rising Star – Business Apprentice Category National Runner-up:Hannah Kassell
- Rising Star – Engineering Apprentice Category National shortlist finalist: Mike Glover
