The Archbishop Stephen Cotterell and Bishop of Carlisle James Newcome were on a whistle stop visit of the parish with the Rev Nicki Pennington.
They also visited the volunteers who have been collecting supplies for refugees of Ukraine at the town’s Forth depot.
