
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after an assault in Carlisle city centre.
The incident happened on Saturday on Bank Street at around 4.45pm. Police were told a man had been assaulted by two people.
He sustained minor injuries.
A short while later, officers arrested a boy, 14, from the Carlisle area, on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was later released on police bail.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information, particularly those who may have video footage, to contact them.
