Shark in the Park

Timothy Pope is looking through his telescope –but wait, is that a shark in the park?

Nick Sharratt’s Shark in the Park book series are a firm favourite with youngsters and now the creative team from Nonsense Room is bringing them all to life on stage.

Families can see them on stage at Brewery Arts in Kendal on April 7. Tickets are available now – click here to book.

Featuring all three of the Shark in the Park series – Shark in the Park, Shark in the Dark and Shark in the Park on a Windy Day – this fin-tastic, family musical follows Timothy Pope (and his telescope!) on three exciting adventures…

The Nonsense Room have had previous successes with The Hairy Maclary Show and You Choose.

They have adapted Sharratt’s idea and added a few extra characters to help it zing along – the back story, with suitably grown-up asides, is elaborate enough to give this enough for the hour’s performance, without losing pre-schoolers or their parents.

7 Apr | Starts 2pm | Tickets £8.50

Brewery Arts is a cultural hub with world-class cinema, live music, theatre and creativity in Kendal, Cumbria.
