People looking for a new opportunity are invited to an open evening hosted by Wilderness Way next month.

Wilderness Way’s specialist care supports some of society’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children from across the country.

Wilderness creates safe, loving environments so children can feel safe, supported and which fosters their physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth.

Teams are made up of a diverse range of people with many difference skills, passions and life experiences, but one thing they all have in common is the ability to engage, inspire, and form life-changing connections with children, as well as an absolute commitment to supporting them to have the most successful and happy lives possible.

Wilderness Way said: “We know that for our teams, looking after our children is much more than just a job – it is a passion and a privilege.

“We value and reward our teams for their dedication and commitment, and fully support them both on a daily basis and in terms of their goals and career development.”

Wilderness Way is hosting an open evening at Brewery Arts on Highgate in Kendal next Wednesday, July 8, from 5pm to 6.30pm for people to find out more about opportunities on offer.

It added: “Working with Wilderness Way offers the opportunity for you to truly make a difference and change the course of a child’s life. This is surely one of the most rewarding careers there is.”

At the event, people can meet one of the organisation’s registered managers, discover its inspiring work with children and explore career opportunities.

It said: “There will be relaxed chat, a short presentation and Q&A. Meet the team, ask questions, and enjoy some tea and coffee!

“Whether you’re exploring new career paths or simply interested in finding out more about us, we’d love to meet you.”
