
Members of Cumbria Freemasons have successfully delivered several van loads of much needed aid, donated by the local community, schools and several local businesses to the Ukrainian border of Poland.
The aid is heading straight to Kyiv, which has been badly affected by the conflict and these much needed items will be getting used as early as this evening.
Neil Dixon, Grant Todd, Paul Procter, Richard Graham and Alan Morley went on the journey. Neil said: “What an experience we’ve had!! We’re just driving back through Poland now. We were only 15 miles from the war. It was very surreal.

“The journey took 48 hours, covered 1,500km in freezing conditions, this is a great example of what Freemasons do best, helping others less fortunate than themselves.”Fe
