A teenager climbed on a Carlisle rooftop and stayed there for three hours – prompting police to call in a negotiator to help get them down.
Warwick Road was closed as a result of the incident, which happened yesterday, May 19 and emergency services attended.
A police spokesman said: “Emergency services shut the road for safety reasons after a teenager climbed onto roofs on the street at about 4.40pm yesterday, May 19.
“A police negotiator was deployed as part of the emergency response and the teenager came safely down from the roof at 7.40pm.”
