A new housing estate is set to be built in Aspatria.
Gleeson Homes has been given the go-ahead to build 65 homes off Station Road on a 6.47 acre plot.
The development on the greenfield land will include two-bedroom bungalows plus two-, three- and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes.
There will also be six affordable homes and three local authority rental houses.
Construction is expected to start in the summer and last until autumn 2025. The developmentās first homes will be released for sale in autumn this year, with the first residents expected to move in during spring next year.
The firm has also been granted planning permission to build 40 new homes in Whitehaven.
