Police have launched an investigation after a shed caught fire in Carlisle overnight.
Crews from Carlisle East and Carlisle West stations were called to Peel Street at around 4am to tackle the blaze, which was spreading to a nearby property.
Carlisle East Fire Station said: “In attendance, crews discovered a well developed fire, but swift action ensured that the fire did not spread inside the property. Crews brought the blaze under control.”
