An appeal has been launched after a Kendal man has not been seen since leaving his home.

Gavin Sinclair, 48, has not been seen since leaving his home address in Kendal yesterday, July 8, in the morning.

He is described as white and 5ft 9 in. He is of slim build and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and grey jogging bottoms.

It is believed that he may have travelled to the Lanarkshire area of Scotland.

Officers are concerned for Gavin’s welfare and urge anyone who sees him or who has information on his whereabouts to contact police.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit quoting incident number 979 of 9 July or call 101.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
