A Carlisle man, who was a finalist in Britain’s Got Talent in 2008, has appeared in court accused of raping two women.
Andrew Johnston wowed judges and the audience as the 13-year-old choirboy. He came third in the final and released a top five album after the series.
But Johnston, now 27, appeared before magistrates in Westminster on Wednesday, according to The Sun, charged with two counts of rape and one of sexual assault.
He allegedly raped one woman at an address in West London in November 2019.
He is also charged with sexually assaulting her in March 2020 and is accused of raping another woman in a flat in South London between January and February 2020.
He did not enter a plea and is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on November 7.
