Cumbria’s Premier Wedding Show returns to Carlisle Racecourse next month.
It will be held on Sunday, September 25, following the huge success of the February show, which brought new business and opened doors for many exhibitors.
With almost 700 visitors the feedback was overwhelming, said organisers.
The event is the brainchild of Carlisle businesswomen Carol Waggott, of Carol’s Bridal Boutique and Carol Milnes, of CA Events, who have over 20 years of experience each in the industry.
They said: “We are delighted to be bringing together some of the county’s top wedding suppliers and support the wedding and event industry which suffered huge financial, emotional, and devastating loss over the previous two years during and following COVID.
“We are committed to continue supporting and helping a varied selection of businesses by engaging with visitors to gain exposure in a fun and vibrant atmosphere and to support brides and grooms to find their dream suppliers.
“We have the drive and passion to raise the profile of the great wedding businesses we have in this beautiful county and bridal parties who are looking for ideas for 2023/24.”
There will be a fizz reception for visitors and each bride will receive a goodie bag on arrival.
Exhibitors include photographers, bridal cars, event décor specialists and venues and there will be two fabulous catwalk shows showcasing bridal gowns from a number of bridal houses, groomswear with trends for next season and a fabulous array of bridesmaid and mother of the bride outfits.
The Carols said it was an event not to be missed.
There will be also be a competition to win the wedding dress of your dreams to the value of £2,000, donated by Carol’s Bridal Boutique, a groom’s outfit, donated by Goodfellows Menswear, a hen party Prosecco afternoon tea, donated by Skitby, a bridal car donated by Cumbria Classic Cars and many more prizes!
The organisers added: “We can’t wait to welcome all the newly engaged couples to Cumbria’s Premier Wedding Show and get them inspired for their big day.”
