
Police are investigating after a garden shed was set on fire in Flimby.
Officers are conducting an arson enquiry into the fire, which happened on Sand Lane at about 6pm on Sunday July 31.
The blaze also damaged a fence and property in the next-door garden. Police have issued an appeal today, August 26, for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman said: “Police would like to speak to anyone who either knows who is responsible, witnessed the fire being set or saw anything suspicious. We would also like to hear from those with CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage of the arson.
“Police would like to warn that setting such fires is dangerous and the consequences could have been much worse.”
