Jewellery, cash and coins were among items stolen from a house in a north Cumbrian village.
The burglary, in the Bishop’s Mill area of Dalston, happened on September 2 between 11.30am and noon.
Police are seeking any witnesses who might have seen a man in the village at about this time, described as white, wearing dirty trainers and dark trousers.
Officers would also like to speak to anyone who has CCTV in the area of Bishop’s Mill.
A man aged 41, has been arrested and released under investigation.
