Three of ITV’s Emmerdale stars have been spotted paying a visit to West Cumbria.

Dominic Brunt, Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry, who play Paddy Kirk, Cain Dingle and Rhona Goskirk in the soap, have been spotted by people across the county.

Hartley’s Beach Shop and Tea Room in St Bees shared a snap on social media with staff posing alongside the stars enjoying ice creams and hot drinks outside the building.

Brandon Atkinson, who works at Hartley’s and got selfies with the stars, said: “I was not expecting to see anything like it on a Sunday morning and I hope they liked their ice cream served by yours truly!

“I believe they came for a break as they were with their family, they didn’t stay for long because a crowd started to form.”

Another resident said she had spotted the trio in Cleator Moor. She added: “They were in the Co-op yesterday Cleator Moor it was so funny my husband thought I was joking until we came round the next aisle and started talking to them.”

Low Gillerthwaite Field Centre, a hostel in Ennerdale, also shared a picture with the group, saying: “When Emmerdale come to Ennerdale.”
