A virtual indoor bike race night is set to take place in Kendal this week.
Wheelbase Lake District in partnership with Garmin Tacx is hosting an action-packed evening of head-to-head racing on the latest Tacx smart bike indoor trainers.
Teams of three will come together to compete for prizes and there will be loud cheers of encouragement accompanied by the ringing of cowbells as riders race against each other with big screens displaying their virtual selves sprinting toward the finishing line.
Members of Kendal’s healthy cycling scene with the Kendal Cycle Club are set to attend and organisers are expecting no shortage of competitors keen to prove themselves in this virtual e-racing format.
The event is set to take place at the New Union Pub in Kendal.
