Cumbrian branding specialist Ast Signs is celebrating 20 years in business this month.

The company was set up by Mark Aston in 2002 and is now one of the UK’s leading branding specialists.

It started out with a team of three and a single room premises and has grown to have one of the largest accredited applications networks in the UK and Ireland, a 21,000sq ft purpose-built office and manufacturing hub in Penrith and a state-of-the-art application centre and design studio in Warrington, employing over 80 people.

Ast’s Transport Branding team has long worked with the likes of M-Sport, Culina, Sunbelt Rentals, Sky, AO.com and the NHS.

Its signs and graphics team works with companies including Stihl, Rivus, The Motor Fuel Group, Laing O’Rourke and NTS Global and its Astaura Office Interiors team counts Barclays, Fabulosa, John Deere, Volvo and Britvic as clients.

Managing director Mark said: “I’m very proud of the company as it stands today. We’ve achieved a lot in our 20 years and our intention is to achieve even more in the years to come.”
