People are asked to be extra vigilant as the nights get darker following two burglaries in a village.
Two properties in Dent were targeted during the early evening of Saturday, October 15, police believe.
A spokesman said: “Police are asking communities to be extra vigilant and take extra precaution with unoccupied properties as evenings are getting darker, with the incidents believed to have happened from early evening.”
Officers want to find witnesses or are keen to hear from anyone in the community who has noticed any suspicious activity in their area to please report it.
