A boy in his early teens was punched in the face on Monday in Barrow.
Police are investigating the assault, which took place in the area of Schneider Road, Sycamore Grove and Laburnum Crescent, at around 8pm.
Officers want to trace two boys, both white and aged about 16. One had dark hair, the other had blond hair. They were wearing dark clothes.
A group of teenagers was also present.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has any information to get in touch.
