A moped rider was mugged for his bike while waiting at a junction in Barrow.
The victim was riding a red SYM AE05W, registration PE64 HFK, when he stopped at the junction between Harrogate Street and Victoria Road between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday October 11.
He was approached by two men, dressed in black, who pulled him from the bike and rode off on it.
A Cumbria police spokesman said: “We would like to reassure the public that this has been an isolated incident and that the victim in this case is safe and well.”
Officers are appealing for any information to come forward.
