A new online learning platform packed with video content to help businesspeople develop their leadership skills has been launched by a Cumbrian man.

Leader Connect is the brainchild of former British Army Lieutenant Colonel Neil Jurd OBE and brings together experts in the field of leadership.

Neil said: “The new platform and app really is a game changer, and we already have more than 500 people using it from organisations including the NHS, Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, BDP Port of Singapore and Sheffield University.

“For some organisations, it isn’t always possible to invest in face-to-face training all the time, so the beauty of Leader Connect is that it comes at a lower cost and enables learners to take part in their own time.

“We’re already hearing from people in education, the NHS and in business more broadly, about how it is working and what the real world impact is.”

Among the experts who have featured in the series are British Adventurer and star of Channel 4’s Hunted Jordan Wylie, outdoor cook and Ordnance Survey Champion Harrison Ward – better known as the Fell Foodie – and former Sandhurst instructor Paul Jones who has more than 30 years experience in leadership and team development.
