A 72-year-old grandmother from Cumbria is set to stand trial after a Just Stop Oil protest on the M25.
Catherine Rennie-Nash, a retired teacher of Kendal, was arrested after the protest on November 7.
Just Stop Oil members were protesting as part of a campaign of non-violent civil resistance, demanding that the Government stops all new UK oil and gas projects.
She appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court and was charged with causing a public nuisance.
Her trial date will be set in the new year.
